Training position to become a chipping mechanic

From September 2018 on, we accept applications for 2019 (m/f).
We are complete for 2018.

Tasks:

In the course of the three-and-a-half-year training scheme you will be introduced to and instructed step by step in the operation, fitting and programming of CNC turning machines. Already at an early stage of your training you will be given responsibility for various duties, tasks, and functions to be assumed. After the completion of your training you will be able to work independently to create machining and processing plans on the basis of manufacturing drawings, to assume work and job preparation and scheduling tasks, as well as to program, fit and set up CNC turning machines and to monitor their operation in series production.

Requirements:

At minimum you should have obtained a school leaving certificate equivalent to the completion of secondary modern school (Hauptschulabschluss) and should have the school grade equivalent to satisfactory in the subjects of mathematics and German. We expect you to have high degrees of willingness to learn and intellectual grasp as well as to be able to work independently, to approach new situations in an active manner and to be able to integrate into a team. High levels of commitment and flexibility are taken for granted.
